The Circle Workshop

ShadowSmith: The Journey — Level 1

March 13, 2027 · In person in Newport, Oregon

Fall is the transition between summer and winter. ShadowSmith: The Journey™ is how we notice our transitions — and how we move through them.

The Circle Workshop is a small, in-person gathering where twelve people spend a day with our practice — March 13, 2027, in Newport, Oregon.

Early access to registration opens December 21 for people on the list. Public registration opens December 27.

What Happens in a Session

In a small group setting, participants are guided through the journey using the ShadowSmith process, supported by reflection prompts, journaling, and facilitated conversation.

You work with three physical decks—The Call, The Guides, and The Waypoints—and a circular Journey Board. During the workshop, you learn how the kit supports the practice and how to move around the board as you explore your own experience. Your kit goes home with you so you can continue the practice in your own way.

Each person moves through the experience individually, sharing space with others on their own journeys. Many find that hearing others’ perspectives brings unexpected insight into their own process.

This is not prediction or fortune telling, it is not a game, and it is not therapy. It is a structured, compassionate environment for reflection and personal insight at your own pace.

Your Journey, Your Choices

The work is intuitive and lightly guided. The questions offer doorways, but you decide which doors to open, how far to enter, and what meaning you make of what you encounter. You may answer aloud, privately, indirectly, or not at all.

If this workshop fills before you register, you’ll keep your place on the early-access list. We’re planning to offer ShadowSmith: The Journey on a regular basis, so there will be more opportunities to join us.
